iPod Linux
OK, so far I can’t see much other than games that can be played on your iPod, but the idea that iPod Linux – Linux for your iPod exists is pretty cool. Presumably if you can mount it then there’s all sorts of possibilities.
In the Modules section are all sorts of games like Doom. Asteroids and Tetris but then also a Midi player, an iPod to iPod Firewire connector and best of all – TIM: On-Screen Keyboard (tiosk) – “Input text using an on-screen keyboard”.
“iPodLinux is currently safe to install on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation iPods,” with development ongoing.
