Computers in movies

A new project begins soon. Having watched umpteen movies and TV shows where somebody is hacking into a computer system or even just chatting (as in Jumpin’ Jack Flash) there’s always something a little odd about the system the character is using. In Spooks (BBC1) a while ago, somebody had a virus system which had a spidery gui that had insects running around the screen when something bad was released onto the web.
So I’m compiling a list of the movies that use and mostly abuse computer technology and it will appear here soon.

What about that awful film “You Got Mail”? I would love to go into detail but that’s likely to involve a sorry trip to Blockbusters as, regrettably, I don’t own a copy…

These movies are so many that I can’t even remember of their titles. But here are some:
    Swordfish
    James Bond Golden Eye
    Firewall
    ….
    and more
But I admit that hackers I and II were successful even if they went too far. They talked about the books that are used in hacking like red book. The 3D animations were not so good.
Also the best movie with the real truth about computeres is Anti-Trust the absolute movie reminds one big company (everyone knows what I mean)
    Keep the good work.
